How on earth do you get them to sit so still? My neighbours think I'm crazy creeping round the garden trying to 'snap' butterflies!!

Ooh, Gee. your blue butterfly was fantastic! I think these butterflies are used to us now.....even with two cats trying to catch them....they sit and sunbathe around the garden.......:o)

Fantastic Janey, the only butterfly Ive seen is the cabbage white.!

Aw......Pp, I'll whisper in their ears and they'll fly over for a holiday.....:o)

We have so many cabbage white this year........a very good closeup.

Yes, there are so many this year........yesterday a Wagtail which visits us frequently spied a Peacock butterfly and swooped down catching it in mid-air!

Did you not catch it on camera lol

Poor butterfly Dd......lovely little Wagtail though......she comes all through Winter very bossy, chasing other birds off the grass.....:o)

Maybe thats where all my butterflies have gone, naughty wagtails :-))
