Lovely photo Toto, It's nice to see so many babies surviving, some of it due to the parents protectiveness. Nice area to sit and have sandwiches. WHen I stayed with my sister in June we sat on a seat overlooking a river tributary that ran out to the sea and had our lunch, watching the yachts getting ready for the change of tide to go out to sea for a sail. They had lots of swans there.

Thank you Spritz and Dee. All the others stayed in line but the one at the back didn't seem sure of where his place should be.

26 Aug, 2009

He wasn't paddling hard enough, was he! There's definitely a gap where he should be! lol.

26 Aug, 2009

~poor little thing!~here's hoping that he grows as big as dad!

26 Aug, 2009

See what you mean Spritz. Maybe he needs an outboard motor. I hope he does too Arlene.

Woodbridge in Suffolk, just asked my sister. where we sat and had our sandwiches.

27 Aug, 2009

Thanks Lindak. I have been there. It's a lovely place isn't it!

SHe lives at occuld, near EYe and when we stay with her we tour round, I like SOuthwold as well.

I agree Lindak, it is a lovely part of the world. I was in a part of your area last Sunday as I visited Etwall in Derbyshire.

28 Aug, 2009

Yes Toto Derbyshire is a very pretty area. It has small fields with plenty of stone walls, trees and hedgerows until you start to reach to the northly Peaks then it gets very wild looking.

28 Aug, 2009

It's normally the Peaks that I go to for walking Lindak.

28 Aug, 2009

How about walking on Exmoor or the Quantocks, Toto? I know a nice place where a cream tea could be served given due warning!! LOL.

28 Aug, 2009

I have already been to both but would love to return, particularly to Exmore even though it's not as hilly as the Quantocks.
