They hang around the ponds at Sherwood pines, (another regular haunt/picnic favourite of ours) just down the road.

He looks a dark devil Spritz......they are so large this year, I had a brown and cream one after the butterflies hiding in the Buddleia!

Its Forestry commision land with picnic/BBQ areas and loads of walks and play parks. Although Edwinstowe is inland there is quite a big tourist market here because of Robin Hood.

Well he did. Edwinstowe was his village and he supposedly married Maid Marrion in our church. If you can believe the hype
