This pot is in my bird bath as the birdbath is quite old and is very porous and leaks, but it makes a nice pot holder, so have had to buy a new little birdbath for my feathered friends.

What a good idea Carole , we have one that the birds aren't at all interested in and the water is always drying up in it , they prefer the bowls near there feeders , I could put a plant on mine , thanks for the idea :o)

I do like to see plants cuddling up to each other and all of yours seem to be having a group hug. Wonderful garden.

Thanks Morgana The borders are another story! the one you can see in this picture I spent two days widening it by 18 ins so I could move the plants around as a lot were swamped by larger and more vigorous plants, quite a job cutting the curves and then finding somewhere to stack the turfs, just got the opposite side to do now, and then start to rearrange the plants, Oh I do feel tired Lol

It is very hard getting turf up, I know I skimmed 2 allotments and had to dig dead turf up and skim, in my garden as the trees next door killed the grass. It is worth it all in the end but dont make your self ill then its not worth it, it does look wonderful though.

Old features like that are brilliant...even if you can't use them for their original purpose. Pretty pot of flowers.
