It is a lovely little bloom TT - originally a wildflower found in Western Australia and now available as a garden plant. It has these pretty lavender-purple pea like flowers for most of the year.

TT - this one is the compact variety and grows to around one and a half metres tall. It will tolerate frosts and well as drought conditions and it's now starting to be used as hedging over here.
