Ivy in flower with butterfly

The old Ivy is a picture at the mo.........covered in white blossoms which the insects love......especially the butterflies......:o)

I love Ivies......I know they can damage brickwork etc...but are such a great cover and these lovely white flowers then the blackberries in the winter make it worth it....:o) I bet those are flower buds Sandra............

This is a plain green one Sandra....as they grow taller, the leaf shape seems to change and be more rubbery..Lol! I'll see if I've an other pic of it......next to this one is a lovely yellow and gold type...which is prettier for it's leaves..........

I've seen a lot of Red Admirals flying late this year using the ivy as their nectar stops.
