Hi Dawn yes not sure how long they ll last .. nice but confusing all the wildlife .Butterflies ladybirds even a blue tit seeming to begin nesting process .Goldfinches still having young.

Ray, I was telling Toto how our moorhens have babies again and he tells me the worry is that they wont put enough body fat on ready for the winter - its a shame the beautiful autumn has confused the wildlife.

~we have had torrential rain here today~we now have streams running where there never were any before! Paths suddenly awash with torrents of water and loads of leaves down suddenly! got thoroughly soaked!
I gather the rain is crossing over to the east but don't worry !we have had most of it!

Thank you Peeps. I love all wildlife and take hundreds of pics but only a few are worth keeping.

I love swans they are so majestic. The beauty of the digital camera is that you can take a lot of pictures and delete the ones that you no longer require.

I agree with you Lindack as I am at the moment editing through the hundred I took yesterday.

There's always one photo that sticks out from all the rest. I think it's mostly how the light relfects the atmosphere but in animal and bird shots it's a matter of catching them at the right moment.
