Rufty tufty jack russells, just gone outside after dinner then dashed in to the fire. I don't think Rosie or Meg would have made hunting dogs do you?

Thanks all, I always wanted to catch them like this, but every time I went to fetch the camera they would either follow me or look round and come to me, thinking no doubt it was food!

I thought I would answer your question showing you pictures with exochorda in different seasons - I don't have it in autumn - it looks like the best show is in the gardens when I have my half term:) I think it looks nice in winter - when I wil be back to college in January I will try to take another photo:)

Have had my rescue dog Raffles since May 09,and found we had to fight to get to the fireside this winter, he's a real hearth dog too, so had to chuckle at your photo!
