LOL Heron, I never read your title of this photo and was thinking "Chester looks like that"....when I realised it IS Chester! Silly me....only about 25 miles from me but a while since I have been there.
Parts of Shrewsbury look like this too.

Yes I often visit Shrewsbury and it is the same in some ways. The main difference is I think the park. Compared with Shrewsbury, Chester park is a disgrace.
