thanx Terra, i do quite like hebe but never buy them, but these do fill the gaps nacely :o))

They do grow on yo!u love them so versatile, the minature ones are really good for filling out containers!

ive popped a couple in pots but will get something else to go in with them and others in my rockery carole

Im sure you will enjoy having them Sandra I like to shape them into balls they respond really well!

Yes and most grow in a shape of a ball if they have the right light.

Thank you Spritz any more than 2 syllables and it doesnt stick with me ..Ok with hebe then get lost ..really doesnt look like one does it more heather like in appearance and has delicate white flowers.

Not at all surprised that you couldn't remember that lot! I didn't remember the middle bit - I confess - I looked it up! I did know the 'James Stirling ' bit, though.

Really quite sweet pure white at the extreme tips ..what with this and coprosma think thats 2 nil to me .. I fully understand the need for latin names as common ones lead to confusion and latin ones ensure same plant should be known the world over .. just cant pronounce most of them !

No worries Sandra .. I should know but really struggle with latin names kinda like algebra to me never stuck or made sense ..

same here ray, im hopeless at latin names to, if its pretty i get it, dont care what it called, keep the tags lol

Oh Spritz, I have just purchased a small James Stirling hebe - what chance does it have in my garden if it didn't survive yours? Help :)
