Silly me looking at your photo`s in reverse order, just realised the one I commented on wasn`t taken in your new garden.

never seen a red one near me, seen them down south though,

I thought they were only in the north, San ?
They don't think they come this far down, i think north Wales is the furthest south they come.

when i was in bracknell i saw one and also ive seen them in bournmouth park when i lived there a short time, never seen a red one here in blackpool only grey, so not sure on that one louise

it seems they are north from just peeking on internet, scotland mostly, but like all things guess they apear in other places to, i really dont know alot about where they are from either louise, no probs :o))

Lovely pic. I think there is a small colony in Dorset, based on Brownsea Island. So it is perfectly reasonable to claim a sighting in Bournemouth. Think grey squirrel ..think barbecue! ;o)
