Many thanks to you all. its just the way we are ,dont want a fuss , its something special between us two so why involve others in first of all unecessary expense, we dont need anything ! we will probably Take Simon and the Grandchildren out for a meal and our close friends but on casual basis where we are relaxed and able to enjoy the occasion..

Sounds like you each chose the right partner then ... even though you were both pretty young. Just fantastic! Mick and I married very young and though we've still got a way to go to get to the big 50, we're pretty happy together so I think we'll make it.
