that was quick jacque just posted them lol, she`s claimed this end jacque cause it close to fire, bless, she really isnt well these days :o( love my little angel

So the sofas a big hit with Angelina she looks so settled.

we think she is about 14 jacque, ive had her only 4 years from rescue, she had already had skin cancer, now she has a tumor in tummy, she is very thin under all her fur, can feel spine and ribs now, tummy distended to, but thankfully no pain and still eating and drinking, love to be cuddled, so as long as she is happy will stay with us ;o) im dreading the day jacque

sorry mavis we crossed there, it is a big hit with angelina, that was to be my end :o( not now lol

yes a poorly puss hywel :o(, so lots of extra cuddles now, she sits on my knee every chance and all evening if she can get there before my laptop lol

My old Fluffy didn't move much for a number of yrs either, but she was 22 when she died. Many trips to the vet over the years to get injections. That's what kept her going. I can still have a good cry when I think of her - lol
Take care of Angelina Sandra. She could be with you for a long while yet :o)

Hello Sandra, sorry to hear Angelina is not so good. I bet she's getting lots of pampering, no wonder she gets the seat nearest the fire! Daisy hates my laptop but with it out of action for the last 10 days, did she come on my lap? No! she preferred the padded stool in front of the radiator! LoL
Yes Simbad, they like walking over keyboards don't they and pushing their bottoms in your face at the same time! LOL :o((

hi lily wondered where you had got to, sorry about your laptop, glad its fixed away. they do like the warmth dont they, angelina has an appointment on wed for a check with lovely alister, he wasnt in till then and i dont really like the others, he`s always so kind and gentle with angelina, im still undisided wheather to have a full blood test for her, my clients son who is a vet said no point putting her through that or me the cost when she has got a tumor, even if anything else it wont make the tumor go away, so will have a talk with alister when i go wed,i dred anything happening to her lily, only had her last 4 years but i love her to bits, at least ive given her 4 happy years, better than the life she had before, :o)

She looks so cosy and comfortable Sandra , she is happy that's the main thing , keep her warm and fed , you can't do more than that except give her cuddles and make a fuss of her .... :o)

thanx amy, she is still eating, not as much but eats every day, drinks plenty to, still keeps nibbling on litter yak so will tell the vet that to, makes her sick, maybe thats why she does it, always lots of cuddles to :o))

hi janey its not been a good day, took angel for her check and had a lovely talk with alister about her,, she has lost alot more weight and the tumor is bigger but still no pain thankfully, anyway after talking i decided to have the blood tests to see if anything else like thyroid which could be making her ill, not been eating either, so he took some blood but not as much as he would like but she was getting stressed and upset so he said he will do the most important tests, then she had her usual antibiotic jab for her eyes which get infected all the time, but when i got her home she came out of her carrier and callapsed, i lay beside her and then put her on sofa, after a few mins she tried to get to kitchen and collasped again, then tried to go in her litter tray and same again but couldnt get up, so i called vet and took her right away, they put her in cage with oxygen, her heart and lungs fine, i called them back at 3pm nd was able to bring her home janey, i sat down with her on my chest and she slept there a good 40 mins then i popped her in her favourite place on sofa, sleeping well and keeps popping her head up to check we are still there, get results tomoz and will take it from there, need to get water sample to,ive had tears all day janey, so upsetting
ps, the vets says she was over stressed with all thats happened and blood tests, then the journey home, i wont keep putting her through this, if its not thyroid but the tumor i have to give this a lot of thought ;o(

Oh I'm so sorry San.......poor little Angelina...and poor you too....its so upsetting with a poorly pet. You're looking after her well though and doing your best. I hope she'll be a little better tomorrow....take care...love and hugs to you both. XX

thankyou skillen,, she has just got up and not to good still, wrenching again, so sat with her till calm, now she is lay on her bed in front of fire, im scared to leave her, i have work tomoz, will call home at lunchtime to check her,if no better will call vet, they should have results then ;o(

Oh Sandra what an awful day you and Angelina have had. I do hope she perks up a bit tomorrow but what a shame you have to go to work. I'm sure the vet is right about stress being the cause of her being so ill today. It's such a dreadful time when our pets are ill, I do feel for you. xx

thankyou lily, i blame myself for having the blood test done, she wasnt in pain and she at least wasnt how she is now, i wont forgive myself if she doesnt get better , she went to have a drink lily not long ago and baz said,, she`s still at her water, so i went to see, she had fell asleep at her bowl, so weak, it made me cry

No you mustn't blame yourself Sandra, you had her best interests at heart. It's so difficult to make these decisions, you only wanted to do what's best for her in the long run. Poor Angelina, asleep at her water bowl, it would have made me cry too. Hope you manage to get some sleep tonight. xx

she is settled on the sofa now lily, i will stay up a little longer, but im sure i will keep getting up to check on her,, thanx lily xx

Sorry to hear all this Sandra..all you can do is be with her and so she feels safe and stays calm.You are doing everything you can so dont beat yourself up.(This is Jane ) Have been there with my 4 dogs and know how important your coninued care is to them in their hour of need.xx

jane and janey she just tried to stand again but just toppled over, im so worried, ive put her on her little bed near fire, will keep it on low so she is warm through the night, im going to try get some sleep but will keep checking her, no better tomorrow and im calling the vet, g/nite to you all , thankyou xx
