Marvelous picture. I purchase a bird table this Tuesday to enjoy feeding, and watching the birds this winter. I have put a little sunflower seed, mixed seed, meal worm, and a bit of bread. But no one came, except two collared doves that just sat on the roof of the table...

Once they know there's food there they'll come. Maybe they haven't seen it yet.

they will find you faerieflora, it was the same when i started with my birds, lovely having doves, mine come every day and dont leave till dusk ;o))

Hope the birds arrive soon Faerieflora. Once I moved my bird table nearer to some shrubs, they came in abundance. The bushes give them a kind of hide before they feel safe to fly to the table that's nearby.
