These mountains are such a gift in the winter, when the air is so clear as the winter air never carries so much pollution. When I had my telescope trained on it a few years ago, I could see the wind blowing snow off these peaks relentlessly...

I can imagine Mum looking at those mountains with her brother (he lived in Yakima) and loving them! She came home thrilled with her trip. I'm not at all surprised, seeing this view! :-)))
