Beautiful colour.

I love this colour :-))))))))))))))))))))))
What will its flowering time be and what are its dimensions ?
10 Dec, 2009
Suits you, Louise - whether it fits or not! LOL

:-))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

The label says it's compact - up to 3' x 3' max. Nice one? ;-)))

Yes, you know i'm not a big fan of Hebes though.
If it provided this colour throughout the winter i'd consider it though, summer colours through the winter appeal to me.
10 Dec, 2009
I have other Hebes (not this colour) that flower on and on into the winter. I'm hoping that 'Louise' will do the same!
(Will you, please?????) lol.
10 Dec, 2009
LOL
What are the colours that flower through the winter, please ?
10 Dec, 2009
Pale mauve and purple! :-)))
10 Dec, 2009
Hmm, i think the brighter colours would be better for me, if this one flowers right through until spring i might seriously consider it.
I didn't realise that Hebes 'would' flower throughout the winter.
10 Dec, 2009
It would stop flowering if the weather turned too cold. The others do!
10 Dec, 2009
.... and then it'd perk up again, or be finished ?
10 Dec, 2009
They take a break and start flowering again in the late spring, usually, with an odd flower or two in between, just to be tantalising! LOL.
10 Dec, 2009
Ahh, i'll give it a miss then. I'd only get one if it was definately continuous.
10 Dec, 2009
Well, is there any shrub that blooms continuously? The poor things do need a rest occasionally! I can hear them saying - 'Awww, give us a break!' LOL.
I do reckon my Hebes to be the longest flowering shrubs I have, seriously, apart from Viburnum tinus.

I am a little worried about her, Janey - the Hebe website says she may not be hardy! Did yours come through the winter OK??
12 Dec, 2009
