A good man you have there Carole,Russell has been doing the same for our
elderly neighbours.Hope someone will help us all, when we can't do it for ourselves. One of our next door neighbours was 80recently,and very active for his age,but his lovely wife, had a bad stroke in February, and still unable to walk.It is so hard for them, having to have carers in,4 times a day,who are absolutely fantastic, and always smiling, even this weather when they can't get their cars down here.It makes you so grateful to be able to do things for yourselves, and puts life in prospective, but human nature being what it is,I still have a bit of a moan about things...Will try to do better in 2010,I tell myself.
Have a lovely Christmas,Carole,.and a Happy New year to you and your Family....Sandra xxx

Thanks Bloomer, it does make you appreciate what you have Harry and I are no spring chicks Harry is 75 next year but still insists on doing every thing he can for those in need, he was in the Close yesterday for over 2hours clearing the snow off the road with neighbours so people could get their cars out! like you we do have a little moan now and again, but noone could blame us when you see so much changing and not for the better! Have a very Happy Christmas and best wishes for 2010
