Snowball and friends

After I took this photo they came down to feed , one of the fantails turned on fudge and pulled a feather out of him ....really ... :o(

Shame, but they'll probably sort themselves out and keep a certain distance from each other...

Aw...Fudge....which is Snowball here Amy? Does Fudge have a ring on his leg?
If he's a racing pigeon, maybe he could go back home?

Fudge hasn't a ring on his leg Janey , he has been here since last September , I can't tell which one is Snowball when the two fantails are together , I don't know which one is picking on fudge , I don't think it's Snowball because when they are alone they are great friends ..
Thanks Jacque and PG , maybe when the mating season is over the other one will go and leave them in peace ...

Poor Fudge - he must feel a bit like a gooseberry! I do hope he doesn't get bullied.

I went into our nearest town today and was sad to see a couple of very poorly looking pigeons, both seemed in need of help, one just sitting on the pavement while people walked around it. I stood wondering if I could help when a young teenage girl told me her friend had gone for a blanket and they were going to get them to a vet. So nice to meet someone so caring and willing to go out of their way to assist wildlife :)

i feel for fudge to, he`s been there through all the rough weather standing guard and some posh nob comes along and invades his space, dont think it would be snowball being nasty, think its the other, jelousy :o(

Lol San!......posh nob! Yes the new one could be Pierce Brosnan..with gold medallion, while Fudge is more Mr. Darcey...:o)

Oh Amy...Fudge is certainly standing his corner ! Think he made of stern stuff.Not allowing himself to be left out ! Lol...Am rooting for him...even though its nice to see two fantails together. Enjoying this ongoing saga very much.Keep them coming....

Ah Gee it's nice to hear about the kindness of other people we always seem to hear the bad stuff today , Fudge did get a feather pulled out by the other fantail , he stood his ground though ..
Fudge has been a little hero Sandra standing guard of Snowball in the roughest of weathers , he deserves that medal ..:o)
Ray . the other fantail didn't come today perhaps he is getting fed-up with Fudge coming betwen them .. :o)
