THe full glory of this underappreciated bloom. Really its just hard to catch, once a year for 7 hours. :-)

Thanks. I swore I was taking the day off when it bloomed this year, but my schedule made it a must, it bloomed the day I worked, between four days off! Just couldn't call out.

Thank you all. I love this flower. I wait every year for it. A new plant will sprout and form air roots on the drying flower stem. And this amazing bloom. :-)

Thanks Tastey, Balcony and Linclass. This is a favorite for me to share. It followed this with another, two in one bloom period! I keep my eye on it every day from january into February until it blooms. Like clockwork.

the most amazing part of it all...(the lovely flower aside) is the fact that you do this miracle under lights...in your little cabin north of 60 degrees north Latitude!
