It's back!

So far we have been lucky. Last night and today was supposed to be the worse but everything is clear this morning so fingers crossed, it's missed us.

Lots more snow overnight and throughout today. It's now turned to sleet so it may thaw. I don't really mind the snow but am disappointed that my daughter and I couldn't have our day out today. We hadn't planned anything special, just shopping and a meal out. She doesn't get much time off so I am disappointed for her more than anything. Perhaps tomorrow :)

reading the weather report Gee you got the snow pretty bad, we had a little in the night but nothing to speak about, hope it soon clears for you.

I'v had quite a nice day. I spend the morning running around after the birds, refilling feeds, etc (and taking photos!) The little wagtail nearly came into the kitchen he was so keen to get some food! My young grandson visited me to 'make sure you're OK' and went to the shop to buy me some bread, bless him. He also cleared the front step where the snow had drifted. It was very pretty but hopefully will be clear enough for us to venture out tomorrow. Thank you all for your comments :)
