Cream pansy

So pretty. My pansies in pots havent done very well but at least the bulbs are coming up amongst them.

I know - it's so sad when they were beautiful in the autumn. I'm thinking of replacing all of them - they just look 'tatty' now! As you say, the bulbs are poking through now.

I've not had winter pansies for a few years until this one but do I suspect they have done better previous years?

My winter pansies are a disaster. I'm just hoping that with a few nice days that they will pick up.

Do you think that's possible, Toto? Mine look dreadful - hardly a flower in sight. The violas are better, though, strangely.

Mine are still green and looking quite fresh, it's just that they have no flowers st the moment.

Some of mine are like that, while others just look...well...on their last legs! :-(((

I've got the odd one but mostly all green.

I've just had a look in the garden and a couple of mine now have buds so it seems that all is not lost.

Oooohh!! That's good! Maybe some of mine will perk up, too. :-))

Lets hope so. There is no real reason why the shouldn't, is there?

If you saw the state of them, you'd be despairing of renovation too, Toto! :-(((

I'm sure the pansies will grow better and put on a spurt when the soil warms up.....although when that will be I don't know.....we seem to have had permanent coldness so far..........

The compost in the pots keep freezing, doesn't it!

We have woken up to a layer of snow again this morning and now it's about 4 inches deep. Apparently there is more to come tomorrow.

Just been for a wander in the wellies to the fields and it looks lovely. No children sledging yet though.
