You know what they say about patience.........

I once waited 8 years for a wisteria to flower!! read an article by Alan T and he said if it has not flowered after two years buy another plant, with flowers, so I did.
23 Feb, 2010
Wow! I couldn't be that patient, Dd. How sensible of our Alan. :-)))
23 Feb, 2010
Thank goodness otherwise I might still be waiting now........
25 Feb, 2010
LOL. I suppose the first one wasn't a grafted one?
25 Feb, 2010
No it was not, and at that time I did not know much about them, mind you we have a grafted pink one that has never flowered and it is.......10 years old now!! we were given it as a leaving gift when we moved south, we have plaited it so it makes a statement!! otherwise it would be at the tip now.......

Oh dear - do any of your Wisterias get any flowers on them? Is this a case of try, try, try again?
26 Feb, 2010
We bought a new one last year in flower this time, so, it had better flower.
28 Feb, 2010
SIGH..... How many is that? You are determined, aren't you!
28 Feb, 2010
Yes Barbara, have always loved Wisteria, now I hear there is some sort of disease affecting them, has been know to kill them even well established plants.
