He will..............

Great shot, this sounds like a regular visitor. :-) For piece of mind, fox's big ears are in full use as he sits still until the sound of scurring mice is heard, then pounce! Mice tunnel around under the snow unscathed, til foxy paws get them :-)

Awwww poor foxy. feel so sorry for the wildlife this winter, pleased you are looking after Foxy Deida;0)

Poor fox, a tough winter, how on earth do they stay alive.
23 Feb, 2010
I think they get a lot of help from all the kind people like Deida out there Dawn.

I think you're right Toto. I've never encouraged them into the garden to be honest - I know they are an amazing creature but memories of seeing my Dad's chickens all dead sticks in the mind, I know its nature though.

I can understand your feelings Dawn although when foxes get chickens from a pen it is usually because the pen is in some way insecure and you can't really blame a wild animal for taking advantage of the situation. I'm afraid that I am one of the guilty ones who encourage them as Jean and I feed them every night.

Thanks PP,Dawn and Toto
Toto do you see them during the day?
