Everything goes into these now Jacque......best idea ever....I always make sure I have a can of Pilchards in the cupboard...not to eat ....well SP eats them, but just cos the can is a good size he he he Lol

Good stuff Maureen. I use them too, a great idea. The only thing I find though is that the compost dries out quicker than it would in a plastic pot, just need to keep an eye on that.

what I want to know Milky are these pots hand made or are they tins!!!! explain please

I have found this easier Dawn I just make sure that I can see some damp patches on the pots, then I know they are ok......Avis and Yorkshire.......the sardine tin goes back in the cupboard until old Sleeping Partner decides he fancies sardines, Yorshire....these are very much hand made...Last year Jacque did a big blog on how to make them.......Hence the name "Jacque pots"........

Wow what a lot you have made and planted, it is a great idea the paper pots as like you say you can pop them straight into the ground when they are big enough;0)

I too have sown mine like this - some in toilet roll holders. now they are about 1 ins tall :)
