Whilst they lack the beauty of Reginae, I can't help but be fascinated by them. It has got to be because of the sheer scale of them.

Yes, they are just usually grown for the foliage and tall trunks in large clumps. They are so widely grown here because of their extreme drought tolerance.

Giant bird-of-paradise is very commonly grown in California. They bloom almost all year long also.
