my `Donation, lost the card for my other plant, i thought it was a Azalea
but i do believe it is another Camillia the leaves are the same....

I'd say it's a camelia too... it doesn't have the long prominent stamens of the Azalea/Rhodo. It really sizzles...great colour... and you take great pics!

They both look like camelias to me to. ALTHOUGH LOL mine doesnt seem to be doing to well. Done everything To make it pick up but not having much luck. Do you cover it with a fleese in winter cause think mine must have frost damage. You must be doing something right yours are gorgeous.

Yes i have to agree, they are both camellia`s.....i have them on the side of
my Conservatory, where they share a place next to my Hosta`s which are
now waking up...i think, its because we have had such a bad Winter that
most of us have lost, or have something that has suffered, in the garden.
i have lost my `Nandina` heavenly bamboo...really loved it, i had it for
about 4 yrs....no, i do not use fleece at all, perhaps i should have done
for my dearly departed shrub...: >(((

Sorry to hear of the loss of your Nandina, Freesia,mine looks so poorly now I wonder how much longer I have him for too............:~((

It was poorly Flori, cut it down too early, so the frost got to it....How are you
getting along with Raffles & his new companion? Have they bonded yet?

Raff still on his own and ruling the roast I'm afraid, as Rescue home didn't think it would be a successful match after all. We were a bit annoyed it had gone that far,as we had spent quite a bit of time getting use to the dog, but I bow to their greater knowledge, guess better than bringing the new one home and it being a war zone I suppose ! lol.

I also have a 'nandina' mines sacred bamboo and I have found sme of the leaves on the top half of the plant are falling off.

Have lost all the bottom leaves on mine,Shinobi,am hoping it will pick up, as really like this plant! :~((

Lets hope you have better luck, than i did with your `Nandina
Its soul destroying, when you lose, a favourite shrub or plant...:>(((

I know what you mean, Freesia! I take it very personally when I lose a plant! I haven't given up hope yet, and,as they say,where there is hope, there is life! :~))
