They'd look great with grasses in Dd...do you remember that Easter Island head picture last year...with the trailing grass in the top, it looked great....:o)

I like these. I can't make any suggestions but look forward to seeing them all with a full head of 'hair' :)

These look great! Haven't seen anything like them here. :-)

Ophiupogun would be good on one of the men? Mixed salad leaves would be good too and you could give them a 'haircut', lol.

31 Mar, 2010

Just thought - 'Mind your own business' would make good hair :)

Sedum acre?

31 Mar, 2010

Some great ideas, black grass or any grass would look good, we have had these heads over 20 years, eldest daughter bought most of them in London, have not seen any now for years.

31 Mar, 2010

Well, look forward now to your photos of them later on filled with what YOU like. :-)))

Just looking at your heads. I tried to collect head pots and stalled at at 3. I made one. Found one with no hole in it. Got a rakish one at Tatton Park RHS show, with an earing. Had a small one as a present. After that only Father Christmassy ones......no thanks, and childish ones. I think perhaps some people do find them 'daunting' and they don't sell well.

Dorjac they are obviously not fashionable any more.........

I rather like some of the Easter Island head/face pots Dotty and that place fascinates me, but most of them are so pricey. There was an absolutely beautiful wall pot when I trawled through pictures with holly decorations in for Xmas. I have never seen one in a garden centre. I have no wall that would do it justice. I still keep a look out.

Found a beautiful Cherub this week and half price too, not a pot just the face and she weighs a ton, no idea where to put her though, agree with you re Easter Island.

Every time I go in the pot part of garden centres, I look out for faces but the seldom are any, apart from The Green Man. On the antiques shows Toby Jugs have dropped out of favour too. Perhaps I should get a job lot of them and bore a hole in the bottom............:)))))

Now theres a thought.......;*))

They are brill Dotty, I'm always on the look out but never find any
