Spring Bud in AV

The mini AV is starting to make these buds, so the long season of flower after flower is just about here! I thought a nice close up would be a new look.

Thank you! I have always loved the little buds, and like the exotic look of all the little hairs too. This one is such a performer. About 12 buds already. I can;t wait for it to really get going, as last year I missed a few waterings and it was a bit stunted.

Wow....I love this one....what a stunning photo....the little bud looks like a lantern lit...........

Thank you! Since it is a miniature, the buds rise up out to the plant instead of down at the base. I've always loved watching them and am so glad this pic took as well as it did. They are still so tiny. They are like a lantern, hadn't thought if them that way. :-)
