The full moon has been spectacular rising in the southeast. I'm hoping this one brings me luck on my job search. :-)

This full moon caused a bit of a rumpus here.... I wonder if it did anywhere else? A huge psychological flare-up I mean. But no lasting damage - already fixed itself.

Thank you Brian. Not redundancy, they were just cutting staff due to lower revenue than expected. With all the postulating they make of how interested they are in their employees, they did not take any measures to try keeping us employed beforehand. That's the kicker. We have a relatively strong job environment still n Fairbanks but being remote, we are just now seeing the economic effects of the downturn of the last few years. I'm staying positive as I can. I am so well skilled and a dedicated employee. :-)
This is a strong moon Gurth. On our end it is the moon of spring when life is coming forth and change is strong the air. On your side I suppose it would be the fall moon. That is the harvest when things finish and there is lots of work to be done collecting the bounty of summer. Being so near the equinox, it is particularly powerful. That change is hard for many people, especially if they haven't got a good connection with what they need to do for themselves to feel prepared.
Anyway.....:-) lol

Your remarks are being carefully studied, Gt, I am indeed a great student of astrology... thank you.

Thank you Bonkers and Volval. I'm keeping to the bright side as much as possible. Spring is coming very early and there is warmth and brightness in the air. I'm thinking something good is on the way~
I do Love astrology myself Gurth and enjoy studying many sides of it, classic and native american mixtures. I just know that the world around us influences us all the time even features of the sky like the moon and stars. :-)

Magical Greenthumb. I have just finished watching a series called Wonders Of The Solar System by professor Brian Cox. It was amazing... Oh and good luck

Thank Richard and Faerieflora. :-)
Program on wonders of the solar system must have had aurora borealis on it. We just had a few days of really intense lights. I got a few shots.

Yes it was, and it was marvelous... I think for me, if I saw it for real would be most uplifting, rewarding, beautiful experience ever.

What a fantastic shot!!! The very best of luck to you in your search, Gt! Have you thought of sending a portfolio of your photos to National Geographic?
12 Apr, 2010
Thank you Lori. I'm staying positive. I hadn't thought of compiling a portfolio for anywhere, but I have thought about getting some out there. Wouldn't that be something? Get by on photo sales? :-)

You live in a part of the world that most people don't know very much about... It is as "big sky" as Texas...has some of the highest mountains on earth...and a coastline that is thrilling, wildlife that is unique and large scale, and the aurora borealis...Get your camera wamed up and get out there! LOL>... Good vibrations!!!!

Brill photo, get out there and take more, yes there must money in photo sales somewhere ! and you have the biggest canvas were you live. Good luck

Thank you. I'm taking the shots and continuing my collection. Unfortunately photographers here are a dime a dozen, but the online market does change the market doesn't it? It is just melted off, so brown and ugly times, but those good shots will present very soon I'm sure.
