Aw that's right San, I remember now.
7 Apr, 2010
so at weekend before i finish area will lay her ashes to rest here, will be sad ;o(
7 Apr, 2010
It will be sad, I know how you feel San, but it's going to be a lovely spot for Angelina to rest, she will love it there. We buried our much loved cats in the garden last year. Mr Scruffers was a lovely old stray who adopted us a few years ago. He is buried up by our pond and I got a lovely statue of a cat to remember him by. Our other cat, Oscar died last Feb, and it took me a year to find the right memorial for her. I have just put it in the border where she is last week :~((.

9 Apr, 2010
something trailing may look good :-)
9 Apr, 2010
its only a very small basket she is holding richard so ive put a small mossy saxifrage in for noe to see what happens :o)
10 Apr, 2010
I have a saved saxifrage from last year Sandra it has not flowered again yet but that should be nice in your pot. :-)
10 Apr, 2010
hope so richard, just have to watch it doesnt dry out with not being alot of room :o)
10 Apr, 2010
Your new pond looks really nice Sandra. You and Baz have done a great job there.:-)
10 Apr, 2010
cheers richard ;o)
10 Apr, 2010
Mossy Saxifrage, like most alpines, just needs well-drained soil. So even if near the pond, the border might still be ok.
11 Apr, 2010
i think it should be Jb as its on a slope and not close to waters edge, can only try ;o)
11 Apr, 2010
I had saxiflage by my pond in the other garden Sanbaz.
13 Apr, 2010
yes im hoping it will be ok linda, ive realised i get the sun on this area most of day so dries out very quickly, so already watering in the evening, thats before summer starts :o)
13 Apr, 2010
Most of the rockery plants should be o.k. I also had the very small pink perrenial geranium with the black centre. Can't remember it's name, Grasses are good as the damselflies and hawkers use them for emerging from the pond to dry off their wings.
14 Apr, 2010
thanx linda will get a grass plant then ;o)
