Trying to make our growing containers look more "authentic", to fit the theme. Got a set of 3 willow baskets in a local charity shop for £5. Lined with offcuts of the 20p hessian sacks I found at a local GC (selling in aid of the British Heart Foundation), then with sections of compost bags turned black side outwards, for heat retention, and with drainage holes made. Potato "Pixie" in the sack, in the baskets are salad onion "Red Beard" and Radish "Jolly" (if our Rodgersia ever deigns to re-appear we could have our own "Jolly Rodger" ......groan!). Strawbs at present in the barrel, but think this might change.

Love this corner. The garden has suddenly sprung into growth this past week although the wind has been cold.
