Lovely Sandra, my acers aren't quite in leaf yet. Be careful of the wind as they can get wind burn.

Your planted up tub looks nice Sandra. I have a strawberry tower which is quite heavy to move. I salvaged four castors off some old suitcases we had and made a wooden base for it to sit on. I can now move it and turn it around to catch the sun -little project for Baz to keep him out of mischief..lol :-)

I think some varieties are more susceptible than others, mine are in an open position and get a bit burnt but mine are green ones, hopefully Amy can help.

San they are really woodland plants, like some dappled shade, not keen on wind and scorching sun, we have ours protected by larger shrubs, hope this helps.
