Lol Wagger...not damaged reeds etc yet..seem to be eating the underwater plants and duckweed...welcome to it....there is loads !

That won't last long then they start on everything else. I had to haul all my irises in baskets out and put them in a temporary pond. They loved everything green they could get their beaks on - along with the frogs. Mum, Dad and thirteen ducklings make very short work of a garden!!!

3 May, 2010

Oh yes...remember now Wagger...one of your pics was of the isises in their temporary home ! Well...will let you know how it goes...early days yet !

3 May, 2010

Yes, keep us posted. Is she looking for nesting possibilities yet?

3 May, 2010

Yes Wagger...in the churchyard next door ! She flew over there and stayed away a couple of hours today ! The boys were totally confused !

this is the very best reason to have a pond in your back garden! looks like there's lots of food for them to dabble for... and if it all meets with their approval do you suppose the word will get out in Duckdom about this lovely place in Yorkshire...
great affirmation... congrats R/J...you've done it again!
