another one for the shade. this is evergreen too.

I am told it does 'gently'. I hope so. The leaves are about 1-2 cm in diameter. I like the reddish edge to the leaf.

its allied to the epimedium. the flower is similar in form too.

What kind of soil and light conditions does that little guy like?

shade for at least some of the day with well drained & moist. ie not sitting in water.
