Much better than mine. The best I've ever managed is 3 blooms and this year it's struggling to grow.

Mine not done well Toto,but it as got another bulb grown on the side, so going to split then next year just may have 2 plants then..

Lovely Amaryllis, Irish! I have one last red one in flower but I've still got a few more of the white & pink ones. Mine have all grown from my own seedlings. They took 4 years to flower but the wait has been worth the while. You can see them in my avatar photo & more in my blog on Seedling Amaryllis.

I've planted 2 dozen of the finished bulbs down on the allotment. I have no space for nearly 50 bulbs with their long strap like leaves on my balcony. A few I could keep but not that many! They won't flower again now till next spring - an odd bulb may throw up a flower towards the end of the summer, especially those that haven't flowered this spring. I'll take a few more down in the coming days till all are down there.
