An aquilegia suitable for a rock garden as it's so small, about 5" tall.

i have a dwarf one to louise, i like them because the flowers dont look lost on the stems like some taller ones ;o))

This reminds me....last year at chelsea there was a species? aquilegia from canada (or poss. northern usa where it grows wild), taller than this, similar colour but more orange in it. It was in one of the show gardens (on the tv..I didn't get there in person) and it was absolutely stunning with some bronze grasses I think. I loved it so much and wanted to get some but I forgot all about it until I saw this picture! Thanks Louise!

Must be the same sort Karen, this one says it grows to about 12" so in time i expect this will ... i prefer it this size but there !
