Most Lamiums spread - not this one! It's a much larger plant, grows in shade, and is too well-behaved.

that's a pretty colour one, I only had the common yellow one, but it looks like the badger has put paid to even that one (grrr)

What? L. galeobdolon? Do you really want it, Grindle? Tell me if you do, and I'll root some up for you.

Like this one I have the common one which spreads all over!

They do rather - but NOT this one! It would be good if it did a little...;-)

thanks for the offer Barbara, but we have a bank full just down the road, so I can always acquire it :) I don't think I'll be replacing where it was, I'm changing the area and putting driftwood there, at least he can't ruin that LOL

So what do I put instead of lawns, Grindle? Yes, they're still getting in even tho' we've got the electric fence! SIGH.......:-((((

I have no idea Spritz, this is all new to me, I thought by feeding it, it would leave well alone, but no, so far it's dug up heuceras, ivy, ferns, primroses and it's been digging around the base of my camelia. I'm loathe to block up the place he gets in, because I don't want him digging another entrance, so I guess I'm just going to have to live with it

I completely understand, and even our electric fence doesn't keep them out. We just don't know where they're getting in!
