Thanks, Vicky - I have another one, slightly different. It was too damp to trot up the garden to see if it's in flower...maybe tomorrow! I like that one as well.

Have you recovered from the shock of the 'gang' of GOY-ers descending on you yet? It was lovely to meet you....:-)))))

This is lovely. Never heard of this before but it's very very pretty.

I'll check on the other one. I think you'll like that, too. They're planted facing east, so they get some sun in the mornings. I don't think they need a lot of sun, though!

Even better!

I did look at the other one, but it's only got buds at the moment. If it really is warmer next week, it might flower. :-))

Added to my faves....hope the other one is flowering soon....we are heading for warmth!

16 May, 2010

I do hope so - it's raining again here...YUK....

16 May, 2010

No? goodness, we're on about out third day of continual sunshine and things are actually growing!

16 May, 2010

Boo-hoo! I got an hour outside this evening. Of course, it's sunny now, at 7.30, well - it would be, wouldn't it! I've been for an amble around, as well, and at last there are buds appearing on some plants. :-)))

Oh B! I think by the summer is over the score on sunny warm days will be massively in your favour! Only one of my roses has visible buds on it, and I'm still looking at Primula Veris and Narcissi!

16 May, 2010

And you think I'm not? I've GOT to turf out the remaining (just in flower) Narcissi from my large blue pot tomorrow, so I can plant it up again. I can't have a pot full of dying leaves as a focal point, now can I? Primroses still in flower, too. :-((

16 May, 2010

Really...gosh....what are you going to plant in the pot B?

16 May, 2010

I have three large pink Osteos, purple surfinias, and mauve and white Nemesia ready to go in. I have several other large (grown on) bacopa plugs, too, which might go round the edge...I'll see how much space there is.

That sounds absolutely beautiful! must be a big pot. btw...my grass seed finally germinating on my bare patches. Have been watering like mad for about five days in a row. That's obviously what it needed! What a relief, I had begun to think it would never grow again!! Have you seen my Ger.Phaeum 'Lily Lovell'? I am soooooo chuffed with it! Beautiful colour, much nicer than Samobor!

Yes thanks it was lovely to see you all.
I was a bit shattered and still am but that wont go away until the end of the season but unfortunatly the money goes too so the more the merrier lol

I hope you all had a great day out, it was a shame it wasnt a little warmer for you all.
We were so cold all week I think that tires you out sometimes too doesnt it
I have been planting a little in our garden this week trying to plant my recent purchases and a load of heucheras in the borders.
Have you planted your spoils of the show yet?
I swa you loot on your tray in a picture you seemed to have been very busy ! lol

16 May, 2010

Ooooohh, yes, Vicky...it's all planted! I'm waiting for my new Heuchera to turn pink now! :-))))))))

It really was cold - we felt for you!

16 May, 2010

Thankyou Spritz
I have been ill all week with a bad cough etc
I think it was that cold weather that helped it to come on (well thats what I am blaming ):)

17 May, 2010

Of course it wouldn't have helped...was it a successful Show for you, though, apart from the disappointing judgement of your stand? ( We all awarded you a gold, as you know! lol)
