Gorgeous bloom white my favourite colour for a garden. I some times think to change all in my garden and just have white, I wonder what it would look like.

My favourite too, so fresh against the green leaves!

Thanks Sixpence and PP ... the lovely blooms get a bit lost on the enormous tree unfortunately.

Hiding itself behind the leaves no dought but you managed to capture it lovely

Yes ... it's better to get up close ... and you'd even get a whiff of the faint perfume these flowers have!

That sounds lovely Bernieh, would it smell like a lilac tree then.

23 May, 2010

Yes ... you're right. It does have a smell that's similar to lilacs ... well at least that's what I'm told ... I've never actually smelt a real lilac, so I'm not sure they're the same from personal experience!

Yes its hard to discribe smells, if you ve never smelt it. I wish they would make a perfume from the smell, as I don't like these new perfumes they take your breath away.

Lol ... I'm with you on that. I really don't like the perfumes I buy for my daughter-in-law and niece ... absolute rubbish ... and they give me a headache!

23 May, 2010

Yes me too, I think its just names they buy now or their sense of smell have gone. lol

23 May, 2010

I think it's the names ... Dolce Gabana, Gucci are among my daughter-in-laws favourites!!!

23 May, 2010

Yes famous names thats mainly what they go for now, my youngest daughter she goes for names but smells too, she likes these horrible perfumes. lol

Marguerite ... this one in native to the West Indies, but it's a common tree around here. The sprays of white flowers are hard to notice unless you get close to the tree.
