Hope your ducks appear soon Amy. I've got a mallard nesting under my pampass grass on the pond island :-) I didnt even know she was there, I startled her and she startled me, 6 eggs and I've checked today and she is sitting again :-)

Aw Dawn , you are attracting all kinds of wild life , they will be safe on the island , you have your very own Spring Watch at Pensthorpe , ( that's only a few miles from us ) any news about the owls yet ??
12 Jun, 2010
Ar well you see it was like this...........Have you seen Rhuem getting bigger yet ?
There's your answer............ hehehehehe
Seriously if they have flown which they will soon you won't see them till next year
Mine turn up Aprioll/May time then dissappear about 4 weeks later till the flowing year..

You're too kind Amy, I didnt realise Spring Watch was filmed near to you. No news on the owls yet, all quiet, I hope we see movement soon.
We saw a grass snake the other night though, made me scream, lol.

Thanks Skips that's kind of you , it kind of evolved really there was nothing in the garden when we moved here , we bought loads of shrubs/ plants with us from our last garden and sort of plonked them in as quickly as possible it was a very hot summer .... they have grown well and I do like walking through this little patch :o)
