Lovely Rose Louise!

A fabulous photo, Louise. Would this rose need to be in the ground or would it be ok in a container? Just thinking ahead to next year when I can get planting!

It would be fine in a container, Whistonlass, i would make sure it wasn't a small pot though - go for one that's about 18" high (minimum) and about 16" diameter.
