San, I recall one dreadful year it was 10 degrees nearly the whole of June!! I'll never forget that year, I can't remember when it was but I have never forgotten how depressed I was that June. I don't think I've ever felt so England-sick as I did then! This has been a good June for us so far!
19 Jun, 2010
i can understand you feeling like that karen, i hate nothing more than feeling cold, especially in so called summer ;o(
19 Jun, 2010
Yes, exactly! On Thursday we had 70 degrees in the shade! Never two days the same here and it can be summer one day and winter the next...sometimes even in the same day! Still, it really does have it's compensations as you will find out when you do your travelling later this year!

ive told joe he will need some warm clothes when he goes to aberdeen karen, will sept be ok, hope so lol
19 Jun, 2010
Probably not!! Aberdeen is much colder than here at the best of times, and autumn can often come in August here!! On the other hand, it might be quite balmy...you never can tell! I remember when we moved Rachel in to her flat in Aberdeen it was good weather and quite warm.....he will need some really warm clothes believe me!!
19 Jun, 2010
thanx karen, will make sure he has new sweaters etc, mind you he doesnt feel the cold like me, more like his dad that way, but will still get him warm things
19 Jun, 2010
No, it's funny how you only start to feel the cold past 30 isn't it! lol. Mind you, I've always been one to hog the fire! I really feel the cold badly. My Scott think's it's hilarious the way I sit with a blanket wrapped around me!
