Mid-Winter Downuder: Euphorbia pulcherrima or Poinsettias blooming.

We don't normally get this until Christmas as an indoor plant lovely shot.

Outdoors, wonderful.

Like Sixpence said, we have these at Christmas, as indoor plants, and they need a favourable position. I was quite amazed when we holidayed in Hawaii a few years back, to see them growing as hedges. :o))

Appreciate your comments ... yes these are now in a garden bed. I bought them just last year as quite small plants to replace the two I'd lost a few years back. Outdoors here they grow to be the size of large shrubs ... looking forward to that as I was missing the wonderful display these plants give during our Winter.
