I still have to find the right place to plant it! It's safely in one of those 'long' pots, so It's OK, but I'll have to find a good place.....

Thanks. I'm wondering if Karen's plant is in flower - or any of the other seedlings she gave to other GOY members. :-)

I just have a seedling, same as you B, so I don't know either!

Ah, I see. So have you only seen the flowers here, as well???
12 Sep, 2010
Yes, here and on tinternet only! Aren't they beautiful? So subtle and delicate, quite different from most of the loud yellow vars.

Definitely one for the wish list.

Had a peek at mine earlier, not flowering quite yet....hopefully it will before the frosts knock it right back! I've planted it to grow up the Malus 'Royalty' (dark red foliage) so it should make a lovely contrast next year when it gets up into the top of the tree...it's a very small tree....at the moment!

Sounds good to me....now where shall I plant mine? lol.

Aren't these lovely....I have 2 which I grew a couple of years ago......quite hardy but we had to chop ours down end of spring to move the trellis. The flowers are just beginning to open now and it must be 6ft high. Dawn has posted a pic of hers this week which she says is smothered in buds....:o))
14 Sep, 2010
I should take a look at Dawn's. Glad to hear that they're hardy! :-)
