lol..what a riot...

I have 20 to 30 appear at a time, they attack the bird table but do take it in turns! Amazing to watch them fly in a flock too :-))

Our starlings do the same, they remind me of the gang of kids that hang around on corners and make loads of noise etc.

They sit on my conservatory roof Bellflower and wait their turn :-))

They are amazingly social birds though, ever seen them do their flight when they gather in the evenings, it's an incredible sight !

Yes perhaps 20 years ago I took a photo of thosands of birds flocking in the fields just beyond where I lived at the time. I'll see if I can find the shot

They're all in there for last orders...lol I've watched starlings bullying other birds and even a local cat. And boy can they squawk but watching them gather in the evenings is really something to watch as GM mentions.

They're such an intelligent bunch aren't they...I love the way they mimic other bird calls......at dusk there is a whole flock that meet on the church tower across from us.....chatter, chatter, till everyones present, then off they fly to roost elsewhere.....
