Good to hear Arlene. I'm pleased to say that my dahlias are also fowering well.

Great shot of a highly intelligent woman doing her work. Being a beekeeper in the past, I know that the bees are ruled by the queen and the males are thrown out of the hive in September.........The worker bees (female) work really hard bringing in the nectar and pollen to feed their young and make honey.They also attend the queen and look after the hive, also fanning their wings to keep the hive at the correct temperature, and they have guard bees at the entrance, where the bees arrive from their destinations to inform the outgoing bees where the source of food is. I haven't seen many bees at all this summer.

It's sad to say that the bee is in decline but hopefully all is not lost and they will be able to return to their once healthy numbers.

Typical society throwing out end neglecting the men once they have served their purpose.
