What a great clear photo. They're a bit too quick for me to get a good photo.

You need to creep up on them Dawn. If you hide in the long grass and make a sound like nectar they are not too hard to photograph.

Have you been hiding in the grass making strange sounds since 1 August, Toto? You must have hypnotised that poor butterfly :)

I'm intrigued how you make nectar sounds and now we know where you've been these last few weeks - lying in long grass ;-)

Nectar sounds Toto......to butterflies!!!.........in the long grass......Does that mean that you haven't been able to cut the lawn because of the rain. LOL Well you wouldn't have to bother much here as we have only had a few fluttering by.
