We're nearly keeping up with her Gilli, but she plays a lot with the cats, so that lets us off the hook a bit.....your Rosie is a lovely looking girl, is she a pet or shall you work her? Yes she is a little beauty isn't she Carole, she really melts your heart San and Dawn, especially if I check her, she comes to me and rolls on her back as if to say "sorry Mum"! Do you knoe Gee she has a sturdy tail for a little'un...:o) How is Millie this week, has she had any more free rides up the road???

She really does have a lovely long and thick tail Janey! Sweet little puppy, but don't you be deceived! ;)

Rosie is really meant as a pet Janey, although with her energy level I will have to do something with her to wear her out. I don't think it will be herding as I don't have access to either sheep or cows at the moment. I may do agility or search and rescue. Not sure yet.

She looks as if she's saying "Is this my best side?!"

7 Nov, 2010

shes 1 shepard x collie . our other dog who died last year aged 14 never put a paw wrong so we were shoked wen this one does all this . she is in her crate at nite .... lol

8 Nov, 2010

I hope not Janey. My Rosie has been pretty good so far all things considered.

9 Nov, 2010

Ooer, naughty Rosie, Cristina...is she a rescue dog? They can have many problems, but saying that most of ours have been rescues and they've been fine after settling in....maybe she's a bit bored...is she on her own much? We had a lovely Field Spaniel that was from the rescue....such a smashing dog...he had been a stud dog and then left in a concrete enclosure as he got older. The only real problem was that he howled and we never did cure him of it, it was a strange behavioural thing, he was fine and then suddenly went into his howling mode and wouldn't stop it till all musical notes had been got through, then he was fine again! That must have been for attention when he was left on his own where he'd been.

Can't grumble yet Gilli either, and she's coming on better on the lead...:o))

9 Nov, 2010

Ooo is she Janey? What's your secret? Rosie just about pulls my arm off. She has improved slightly but still pulls like crazy. Grrrrrrr.

9 Nov, 2010

she is a recue pup only 6 weeks wen i got her . no not on own a lot .mike takes her out 4 big runs lol... but she is very clever ... and on the whole quite good. shes just young !!! my baby lol i love her to bits .was just a culter sock haha x

9 Nov, 2010

My secret is that she is small!...lol. Well they are still babies Cristina, like having kids all over again!

9 Nov, 2010

Well, you've got me there Janey. LOL
Today Rosie discovered the joys of "hard water". Her outside water bowl was frozen over and the birdbath was also solid. She broke through the ice in the water bowl and ate it all and then she discovered if she tipped the birdbath (its a lightweight one), the ice slid out onto the ground. Then she jumped up and came down on the ice with her front feet to break it up (I've seen coyotes do this to break through the snow crust). She then promptly ate all the ice from the birdbath....I can't wait to see what she makes of snow!! LOL

10 Nov, 2010

arnt they funny lol argggg dont mention snow ..... no no no nooooooooooooooooo !!!

10 Nov, 2010

rocky has grown a lot i must put some pictures on of him, he is a very strong dog! he needs strong leadership as he's quite dominant so has to learn he is bottom of the pack not the top!! He was quick to learn house training, we have had a few things chewed but that is getting less now as his adult teeth are coming through, i have lost a pair of net curtains they were rather holey after being chewed! one chair leg has a mosaic of bite marks on it and my elephant table has now got a pot marked trunk!!! Certainly not a dull life with him around. :o)

10 Nov, 2010

Well, she's a really clever girl Gilli.....and instinct there coming through to get at water, are'nt you going to have some fun when winter comes, all those beautiful walks covered in snow...just make sure she's carrying a barrel of brandy just in case you need a quick warm up!

Lol Cristina....I've heard say it's going to be like last winter....so get ready with those thermals...:o((

Yes, you must Skilla, I bet he's a fine looking dog now, hows Toffee....have they bonded?

The only bad trait Lottie really has, is that she goes too far when playing with the cats....mind you there's been a few yelps and squeaks, then she comes running for a pick-up....Lol!

10 Nov, 2010

lol rosie will not leave my cat alone either just wants to play with her.;0))))

11 Nov, 2010

Same with Rosie and my cats. One cat, Chevy, is really good and just sits there and purrs with the occasional swat at the puppy when she gets too rough. The other cat, Inky, just turns tail and runs which of course, makes Rosie want to chase her.

12 Nov, 2010

lol same here ... haha just like kids lol x
