I love all these little shrubs. My cream one is flowering non-stop! :-))

I bought this one the other day Spritz for £2...could you please tell me the best way to overwinter it...I dont know wheather to put it in the ground or not.....thank you

I wouldn't now, Motinot - I don't think it would get well-established enough to get through a cold winter. Try keeping it in under glass (if you can) until spring. Have you got a cold frame or a greenhouse?

It is a sugar pink isn't it. I love it! My purple rains are still giving me colour too!

I do have a small sun-room attached to the house....I'll try that Spritz....thank you very much ...

Glad you did. Oh - and I still have a few purple spikes on S. nemorosa, too. :-))))) I've cut most of them back now, though.

They really are worth having. They flower and flower, and seem to come through winters with minimal damage.

I like the cream one best - can't think of its name, but it looks wonderful.

I have a red, pink, cerise and cream: all flowering like crazy. I think it are a well kept secret. Brilliant. I will know if they overwinter on clay next Spring!

The only one that doesn't appeal to me is 'Hot Lips'. I don't like the bi-colour of the flowers, and it's a bit bright to place in my garden.

It does look the same Spritz, but with only one flower, hard to tell. Best wait for the profusion next year.

I did, too...Great minds! LOL. Yes, all the shrubby Salvias need to go there.

Re: grouping these plants, I would definitely put in subshrub as they act like Fuchsia, etc. here; don't know about elsewhere.
