There are lots of different types this is a small flowered one with lovely dark purple fleshy leaves, there are larger ones and Rockery ones loved by the Bees and Butterflies

Sandra it is no more than 12 inches high and it does attract the bees, I will give you a cutting in spring if you can find space for it ;0)
Thanks Kathy it was the leaves that attracted me and the compctness too,
p.s. all the salvias have now sprouted and the Vebascum as also started to show now;0)

The sedums have done exceedingly well this year and mine is still in flower. Not much more to do in the garden for now except to mow the grass again.

Im just waiting to get a dry day so I can give the lawn a last cut and trim the edges. Then it will be clearing up the fallen leaves and protecting any vunerable plants. Roll on spring;0)

Its Pulmonairia [common name is Lungwort] the leaves have white spots on them and the flowers change from blue to pink as they open. a good ground cover plant with rapid growth.

Pleased the seeds are doing well Carole:-)
Been raining here all day, but had a good day yesterday splitting a few plants that had got too big, now its deciding where to put all the divisions :-)
